Obamacare survived (for now) because it has made people’s lives better

When Will The Right Get That?

Nice article in the Huffington Post this morning about Obamacare surviving yet another challenge.

Obamacare isn’t perfect by any stretch of the imagination. But the Republicans seek to repeal it only because they can, not because they have a better plan in place. In fact, I’d ask anyone who supports repeal of Obamacare “Well, okay, what’s your plan?”

What happened to the time when our so-called “leaders” would work together to solve problems. Why don’t the politicians from both sides just sit down and try to hash out solutions to the problems of Obamacare? Keep the good, fix the bad. Simple. For a party that claims to be so “business savvy,” the Republicans are completely and totally incapable of getting anything of substance done.

The Republican Party has no plans at all. The Republicans no longer even trys to solve problems. Instead, they just follow the dictates of their Corporate Masters, who care only about money and profit, and care nothing about human beings.

That’s what happens, I suppose, when you spend 8 years saying “No” without every trying to compromise, work together, or come up with any solutions of your own.
